Providence Health & Services Ultrasound Technologist in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling an Ultrasound Technologist (Imaging Services, Variable Shift, 1.0) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This job will work primarily days as well as some evenings.
In this position you will:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures at a technical level.
Use independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for a diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent.
Participate in clinical activities, including call for specific emergent diagnoses, within the imaging areas of Ultrasonography, Surgery, Mobile Unit and Nursing Units.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school graduate or equivalent
Successful completion of a formal training program or equivalent in Diagnostic Ultrasonography
Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) registration or equivalent or eligibility within 1 year
Current Basic Life Saving(BLS) certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 6 months of experience
