Providence Health & Services RN Care Coordinator - International Heart Institute Butte *$4,000 Hiring Bonus* in Butte, Montana

Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (International Heart Institute Clinic,Day-Shift, 0.8 FTE) to Providence Medical Group - International Heart Institute in Missoula, Montana. The 24-Flex position is filled by an employee who is regularly scheduled 32 hours or greater per week or 64 hours or greater per pay period which includes a scheduled flex shift of 8 hours per week or per pay period that they are obligated to work unless the flex shift is canceled. Flex employees receive full-time employee health insurance benefits, even though some weeks they may get “flexed down” and only work 24 hours for that week.

$4,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Shift Details: Dayshift, Part-Time; 32 hrs a week; 8 hrs shift; Monday to Friday, No weekend and holiday.

In this position you will:

  • Assess barriers to care and stressors. Assesses the ongoing care needs of patients through interaction with patients, families and members of the health care team. Coordinates and plans for care consulting interdisciplinary team members as needed

  • Consult regarding cases that are presenting problems and/or experiencing significant deviations from the plan of care, conferring with the providers as needed

  • Demonstrate appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in assessing patients

  • Document in EPIC accurately and promptly patient assessment care and response to treatment, education, changes in patient’s status

  • Exercise clinical competence in the clinic and continuum setting including, but not limited to assessment, comprehensive evaluation, interpretation of diagnostic data, and coordination of patient care; collects/disseminates results of diagnostic tests

  • Help patient navigate health care system

  • Keep patient actively informed of treatment, anticipated responses while ensuring all necessary informed consents are signed prior to providing non-emergency care

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Montana

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire

Preferred qualifications for this position includes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • 2 years of Nursing experience

  • 2 years of Clinic Nursing experience
