Providence Health & Services Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Services in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) 1.0 Evening to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for the clinical and operational management of the patient care area to promote the delivery of the highest quality of care and service.
Have authority and accountability for patient care processes, clinical skill development, clinical outcomes, and customer and employee satisfaction.
Provide continuous assessment of patient care area activities and provides direction and issue resolution in a timely manner.
Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to the staff to promote the most effective and efficient administration of the patient care area.
Efficiently control the productivity and staffing for the patient care , through the use of leadership skills, promotes staff productivity and positive staff morale that includes staff involvement in problem solving.
Demonstrate skill in communicating clearly, concisely and factually in various settings utilizing both verbal and written means
Inform the Clinical Nurse Manager, and the Director and/or the CNO of emergent or unusual events, trends, problems perceived and suggestions for problem resolution and/or improvement for departmental operations.
Bachelor's Degree Nursing
Unencumbered RN license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multistate license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.
Three years of nursing experience
Master's Degree of Nursing
National Certification in area of specialty is preferred
One yearunit leadership experience
One yearnursing experience in the specialty of the unit (ICU, Neuro/ortho, LD, Med/Surge, Peds, etc.)
