Providence is calling a Engineer Stationary (Fac Engineering, Variable, 1.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Operate, repair, and adjust boilers, pumps, fans, air conditioning, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, deaerators, chemical feed and test instruments, generators, air compressors, building automation systems, refrigeration, waste disposal and reverse osmosis water treatment, to ensure proper and efficient operation.
Repair and maintain non-clinical patient care equipment.
Use computer systems to include Facilities Management, Johnson Controls, Metasys, Fire Control and Alarm System, and the computerized preventative maintenance system.
Maintain work order system on Maintenance Connection.
Continue education on and off the job to keep abreast of technology and building equipment, changes or retrofits. Continuing education is a requirement of the position.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Third Class Boiler License required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Valid Montana driver's license.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in mechanical or trades curriculum.
Second Class Boiler License.
