Providence Health & Services Imaging Scheduler in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling an Imaging Scheduler (Support Services Radiology, Day Shift, 0.8 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
For the first 3 to 6 months of training the shift will be 0830-1700 or 0745-1615. After that we anticipate the schedule will be 1030-1700.
In this position you will:
Efficiently schedule cases for Diagnostic Imaging in order to ensure smooth daily operations.
Maintain department schedules by scheduling, canceling, reserving, or moving patient appointments.
Communicate scheduling changes to appropriate departments and personnel.
Provide patients, referring physicians and office staff with proper procedure preparation.
Assist with administrative duties such as drawing up memos, postings, letters, and mail outs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Knowledge of medical terminology
Proficiency with business software such as Microsoft Office
Previous scheduling experience
Experience a multi-line phone and general office equipment
