Providence Health & Services Polysomnographic Technologist Non Registed in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Polysomnographic Technologist No Registered (Neurodiagnostics, Night Shift, 0.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This is a supplemental role filling in for sick and vacation days working night shifts.
In this position you will:
Perform Laboratory Polysomnograms for up to two patients simultaneously in the Sleep Lap, located within the Neurodiagnostic Department
Call to confirm and give instructions to patients prior to and during test
Accurately label recording and all forms generated during the study
Complete and organize recording and all appropriate forms following recording
Required qualifications for this position include:
Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT or RRT)
Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification within one year of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Completion of formal Polysomnogram Training course (i.e. Stanford, etc.)
Three years of experience at an accredited Sleep Center
