Providence Health & Services RN - International Heart Institute Clinic in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (International Heart Institute, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Assist the physician in office procedures including ECG’s.
Assist with assessments of IHI Cardiology patients in the Emergency Department and throughout the patient's hospitalization. Reports to the physician as needed.
Collect/disseminate results of diagnostic tests.
Demonstrate appropriate and effective response to emergent situations.
Perform daily rounds with individual IHI Cardiologists and assists them in discharge planning and teaching.
Perform general nursing care in accordance to the MT State Board of Nursing statutes and rules.
Promptly connect referring providers to IHI providers via phone transfer or takes and delivers messages quickly, professionally and appropriately.
Provide patient education with clear, concise, and positive approach.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Montana
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification
Two years of professional nursing experience in the care of cardiology patients.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
National certification in area of specialty
