Providence Special Procedure Technologist in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Special Procedure Technologist (Imaging Services, Variables, 0.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Obtain and document thorough procedure-related details and patient history for Radiologist.
Utilize the appropriate tones and tools to ensure the correct patient is receiving the correct procedure.
Finish cases completely or hands off to another tech before taking a break or stepping out.
Help in Specials/X-ray when other modality is slow.
Routinely check for outdated supplies.
Pre-educate the patient and family, when applicable, prior to exam on occasion.
Put the patient first - try to get the best possible scan that the patient can tolerate.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
Licensed by the State of Montana as a Radiologic Technologist.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year General radiology experience.
Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience for modality of special procedures.
