Technician Surgical Certified
The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include: being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assists surgeon as necessary, assists circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintains familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned
$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Surgical Tech program
National certification as a Certified Surgical Technician required within three (3) months of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies:
American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), -or-
Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire
- One (1) year of Operating Room experience
