Providence Health & Services Senior Automation Development Analyst in Montana
Providence St. Joseph Health is seeking a remote Senior Automation Development Analyst.
The Senior Automation Development Analyst is accountable to execute the Automation Development goals of ORC including automated scripting solutions and data design and strategy. Accommodates the client’s business needs, resolves conflicting user demands and maintains positive client relations with strong communication and coordination skills. Provide consulting and high level analysis of multiple manual applications and/or highly complex automation scenarios.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and monitor Automation Solutions for ORC focused on Scripting solutions.
Deep understand of customer business process and available data and automation solutions.
Write shell and SQL scripts for automation solutions.
Write SQL to collect, study, analyze and interpret data.
Prepare standard operating procedures and technical diagrams documenting operational processes.
Works closely with ORC customers to develop innovative solutions to attain data and information needs. Performs a gap analysis on needs versus existing availability of reports. Participates in selection of correct tool for fulfilling data needs.
Troubleshoots any reported issues with written reports and specifications. Applies critical thinking and problem solving skills to ensure that reports function correctly and efficiently, pull the correct data elements and meet the data consumer needs.
Prepares report management documentation to manage reports library, track project progress and reports problems in a timely fashion.
Investigates, resolves and performs follow-up tasks on system and related problems. Recommends changes to established guidelines, standards, methodologies and conventions as appropriate.
Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills by effectively working with other team members to identify and resolve problems with project workflow.
Ensures complete and accurate logical definition, analysis, and design of data and scripting.
Work with the team leadership to create detailed automation designs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, or related field of study preferred, equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirements.
8 years experience in IT Development and/or Data role.
8 years experience in multiple IT Development\Infrastructure\Data tools and environments such as .NET Framework, SQL, Crystal, ETL, UNIX, HL7, X-12 EDI, Boston Workstation, Business Objects, TCP/IP, FTP is required.
8 years experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle environment
- Experience with multiple Rev Cycle Applications, especially Hospital Information Systems, Ambulatory Practice Mgmt Systems, and/or Health Care EDI applications.
