Providence Health & Services Security & Maintenance Worker in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Security & Maintenance Worker (Facilities Engineering, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. In this position you will:
Be responsible for many varied tasks related to the Facilities department.
These tasks include, but are not limited to: maintaining the grounds and parking lots of the hospital, general repair and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery, equipment and systems, and appliances.
Conduct daily safety patrols, complete Prisoner/Patient compliance checks, conduct monthly emergency and safety equipment checks, participate in fire drills, and address safety issues on the spot with available resources.
Perform ongoing security patrols, monitor activity, complete and submit incident reports as required for safety/security issues.
Respond to calls for assistance and Response Team alone, with other response team members, and/or Law Enforcement Officers.
Serve as hospital liaison with Law Enforcement and Correctional Facility Officers.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Obtain 3rd class boilers license within 1 year of date of hire
Able to obtain NCPI Non-Crisis Prevention Intervention certification within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of experience in maintenance, law enforcement or security
2 years Experience in healthcare engineering field
